If you are interested in Firefighter 1&2, EMT or any of our other adult education courses, please use the link below to enroll and we will contact you as soon as we can.

Firefighter 1&2 will begin Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Tuition is $1725 providing your own gear (Gear must meet requirements NFPA 1971) or $2225 with gear provided by us. A payment plan is available after a non-refundable 50% deposit. Classes meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

EMT class will begin January, 2025 (Stay tuned for actual date). Tuition is $1350.00 with a payment plan available after a deposit of $675.00. Classes meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00pm to 10:00pm

Watercolor FUNdamentals will begin Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Come learn the FUNdamentals of watercolor in a workshop setting, relaxing and creative! Starting with a picture, the instructor will guide students through the process of translating the image to their own drawing and then painting. Students will also learn about composition, scale, brush work, and color selection.
Classes will meet at Fire Prairie Upper Elementary (24810 E. US 24 Highway Independence, MO 64056) This class will be 6 weeks long and held on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:00p.m. with a cost of $60.
Student supply list:  • Watercolor tube paints (12-24 count) • #2 Pencil and white or pink eraser • Paint tray– square big enough to hold all colors • Avoid the small round one with wells • Soft paint brush set that includes flat, round, and angled brushes • 9” x 12” water color paper pad (Items can be found at Wal-Mart or craft store.)

Our campus is easily located at the corner of 7 Highway and 24 Highway in Independence, Missouri. All Classes are located on the Fort Osage School District campus in the Career and Technology Center building unless otherwise specified.
